The Athenian Luxury Raffle begins on November 1, 2011 and ends on March 1, 2012. The Drawing will be held live at the Diablo Country Club in Diablo California on March 9, 2012. The winner does not need to be present to win. The Early Bird prizes will be drawn at The Athenian School on December 14, 2011 and January 25, 2012 respectively. All drawings will be recorded live and made available for public viewing.

  1. You must be at least 18 to buy a raffle ticket.
  2. Only one name per ticket is allowed.
  3. The purchase of a raffle ticket is not a tax deductible contribution (IRS).
  4. You do not have to be present to win.
  5. Tickets can be mailed to US or Canadian Addresses only.
  6. Employees & adult Members of The Athenian School Community may purchase raffle tickets.
  7. No raffle tickets will be sold online or through email.
  8. Mailed-in Entry Forms and payments must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2012 and must be received by March 6, 2012 to be eligible.
  9. Fax and phone orders must be received by March 6, 2012.
  10. All transactions are processed in California.
  11. All ticket requests must include payment by check, cashier's check, money order or credit card. The Athenian School accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards. For credit card purchases, the entrants must provide the full name, billing address and telephone number of the cardholder and the credit card number, expiration date, and three-digit personal security code.
  12. A maximum of 3,500 (three thousand five hundred) tickets will be sold. An individual can purchase as many tickets as are available. A refund will be issued for any completed entry & payment received after the maximum is reached.
  13. All tickets will be issued to one individual. Prizes are awarded only to the individuals whose name appears on the winning ticket.
  14. By participating in the raffle entrants agree to be bound by the rules and subject to The Athenian School.s interpretation of the rules. All terms are void where prohibited by law.
  15. The Athenian School has the right to disqualify tickets that have been altered or are incomplete or do not include proper payment. The Athenian School is not responsible for lost, late or undelivered ticket requests.
  16. All tickets received in time to be processed by or before 12:00 PM PST on December 9, 2011 will be eligible for the first and second Early Bird drawings. The first Early Bird drawing will be held at The Athenian School on December 14, 2011.
  17. If you purchase a ticket as a gift you may be included in one or both of the Early Bird drawings (see deadlines below). Purchasing tickets as a gift does not make you eligible for the Sellers Only drawing.
  18. All tickets received in time to be processed by or before 12:00 PM PST January 20, 2012 will be eligible for the second Early Bird drawing on January 25, 2012.
  19. All other drawings will be held on March 9, 2012 in front of a live audience and the recording will be made available to the public.
  20. The ticket numbers drawn in any given drawing will be deemed the winner of the prize for that particular drawing. Winners will be notified by phone and/or mail using the information provided on the Entry Form. Winning ticket holders who cannot be located after 14 days will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. No replacement ticket will be drawn.
  21. Winners who fail to show proof of eligibility or sign necessary documentation including any IRS forms forfeit their prize.
  22. Taxes, if any are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  23. Proceeds from the raffle benefit The Athenian School and its ongoing charitable purpose in California.
  24. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of tickets sold. If all tickets are sold, the odds of winning the grand prize are 1:3,500.
  25. No ticket holder or purchaser shall have any claim against The Athenian School beyond a refund for the price paid for the ticket. In no event shall The Athenian School, its officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives be liable to any party for any injury or financial loss.
  26. All tickets and their owners are subject to these rules without exception.
  27. Prize Winners will be listed on the web site by first name and initial of last name.
  28. All personal information collected will be used for conducting the raffle. The Athenian School will not sell or distribute this information to any third parties.
